Terms of Service
Last updated: [Date before launch]
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern your use of the SLASH plugin and related services ("Service") provided by Adam Gabler ("Provider"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
2. Service Description
SLASH is an AI-powered plugin for Unreal Engine 5. The Service includes the UE5 plugin, a license and credit management system, and a web dashboard. AI features require a valid Anthropic API key provided by the user.
3. Account & Eligibility
- Registration requires a valid invite code
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure
- One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted
4. Subscriptions & Credits
- Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly)
- Subscription credits expire at the end of each billing period
- Top-up credits do not expire
- Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
5. API Key & Third-Party Services
SLASH requires your own Anthropic API key to function. You are responsible for your API key usage and any costs incurred with Anthropic. SLASH encrypts your key with AES-256-GCM and never uses it for purposes other than executing your requests.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the plugin
- Share, redistribute, or sublicense the plugin
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Attempt to circumvent the license or credit system
- Share your invite codes commercially
7. Intellectual Property
SLASH, its source code, design, and documentation are the exclusive property of Adam Gabler. Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the plugin for the duration of your subscription.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This does not affect liability for intent, gross negligence, or mandatory statutory liability under German law (e.g., product liability).
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the contract at any time. Upon termination, your account and all associated data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records for 10 years).
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer within the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply.
11. Changes
We may update these terms with reasonable notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance. You may terminate if you do not agree with the changes.
