Terms of Service
Last updated: June 18, 2026
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern your use of the SLASH plugin and related services ("Service") provided by Adam Gabler ("Provider"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
2. Service Description
SLASH is an AI-powered plugin for Unreal Engine 5. The Service consists of the UE5 plugin, a license and credit-management system, and a web dashboard. SLASH does not include, host, or resell any AI model. It connects to your own Claude account through Claude Code (the Claude CLI): you sign in with your existing Claude subscription, and SLASH neither requires nor stores an Anthropic API key.
3. Account & Eligibility
- Registration requires a valid invite code
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure
- One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted
4. Subscriptions & Credits
- Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly)
- Subscription credits expire at the end of each billing period
- Top-up credits do not expire
- Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
5. Third-Party AI Services (Claude / Anthropic)
SLASH works by connecting to your own Claude account through Claude Code. The artificial-intelligence functionality (the language model) is provided by Anthropic, not by the Provider. SLASH is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Anthropic.
Your use of Claude is governed solely by your own agreement with Anthropic. You are solely responsible for: (a) maintaining a valid Claude account and subscription; (b) all token, context-window, and usage consumption on your account; (c) any fees, rate limits, quotas, or restrictions Anthropic applies; and (d) complying with Anthropic's terms and usage policies.
The Provider has no control over, and assumes no responsibility or liability for, how many tokens or how much context SLASH consumes on your account, Anthropic's pricing or billing, model availability, rate limits, or any change Anthropic makes to its services. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of the Provider, the Provider is not liable for any token, context, usage, or other costs incurred on your Claude or Anthropic account in connection with your use of SLASH.
SLASH credits are a separate unit that meters SLASH actions and are billed by the Provider. They are not Anthropic tokens and do not cover Anthropic's charges.
6. Your Content & Ownership
You retain all rights to the projects, assets, levels, blueprints, and other content you create using SLASH ("Your Content"). The Provider claims no ownership of Your Content.
The Free tier is licensed for personal, educational, and evaluation use only. Any commercial use — including developing a product you sell, monetize, or use in a professional or for-profit context — requires a paid plan (Starter or higher). This condition governs your use of SLASH and does not affect your ownership of Your Content. Using your own Claude account does not exempt you from this condition.
7. AI Output — No Guarantee
SLASH executes actions in your Unreal Engine project based on AI-generated instructions. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating every result before relying on it.
You are strongly advised to use version control and to keep current backups of your projects. To the extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for changes to, corruption of, or loss of your projects, assets, or data caused by AI-generated actions. Run SLASH only on projects you have backed up.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the plugin
- Share, redistribute, or sublicense the plugin
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Attempt to circumvent the license or credit system
- Share your invite codes commercially
9. Your Responsibilities
- Keep secure backups and use version control for your projects
- Comply with the Unreal Engine EULA (Epic Games) and the licenses of any third-party assets, plugins, or content you use
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to create infringing, harmful, or illegal content
- Ensure your use complies with all laws applicable to you
10. Intellectual Property
SLASH, its source code, design, and documentation are the exclusive property of Adam Gabler. Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the plugin for the duration of your subscription.
11. Beta & Service Availability
Parts of the Service may be offered as a closed beta or pre-release. Beta features are provided for evaluation, may contain errors, and may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time. The Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, a particular level of availability, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.
12. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
The Provider is liable without limitation for damages arising from intent or gross negligence, from injury to life, body, or health, under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz), and where the Provider has given an express guarantee.
For slight negligence, the Provider is liable only for the breach of a material contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on which you may regularly rely), and in such cases liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability for slight negligence is excluded.
Liability for loss of data is limited to the typical recovery effort that would have arisen had you maintained regular, adequate backups. The Provider is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or third-party costs (including, without limitation, costs incurred on your Claude or Anthropic account), except in cases of intent or gross negligence. These limitations also apply in favour of the Provider's legal representatives and vicarious agents, and do not affect any mandatory statutory liability.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold the Provider harmless from third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Service, or content you create or distribute in violation of third-party rights or applicable law. This does not apply where you are not responsible for the breach.
14. Termination
Either party may terminate the contract at any time. Upon termination, your account and all associated data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records for 10 years).
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer within the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply.
16. Changes
We may update these terms with reasonable notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance. You may terminate if you do not agree with the changes.
